Yes. There are no payments during the beta and you don’t enter a credit card – you only need an email address. All features are available, with no limit on the number of accounts.
OwlyPowly already works, but we are still testing and improving it with our users. Bugs or short outages may occur, so we recommend regular backups (ZIP). Report a bug with the “Report a bug” link at the bottom of every page.
We’ll let you know by email in good time what comes next. Your data stays, you decide whether to continue, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
Each household has 20 MB of storage for receipt images (about 80 images). You can also choose to keep only the data read from receipts. When the storage is full, we ask you for a backup; without one, after 14 days we delete the oldest images. Data and receipts with a valid warranty always remain.
In Settings turn on “Receipts by email” and you get your personal OwlyPowly address. Forward the order confirmation to it, or set up an automatic rule in Gmail or Outlook. At your next sign-in the receipt is read and waits for your confirmation. We have no access to your mailbox – we only see messages you forward yourself.
On our own server, with open-source text recognition (OCR). Images are not sent to external AI services and are encrypted on disk with your household's key, which only your password or recovery code unlocks.

No. OwlyPowly is a record-keeping tool: it reads receipts, adds up and shows your data. Forecasts and tips are only calculations from your entries, not financial, tax or legal advice – the decisions are yours.
